From Trinidad to Oxford! š
In addition to my role as the Founder and Managing Consultant of my dear organisation the Caribbean Mindfulness Institute, I am also a Teacher and Teacher-Trainer with The Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (UK). And now, I am delighted to announce my recent appointment to their Board.
"Iām thrilled to announce my recent appointment to the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation's Board as a Trustee. When I started on my mindfulness journey all those years ago, having first come across the word āmindfulnessā when I was searching for strategies to combat workplace stress, I could not have imagined that this is where it would lead. This is an exciting step in my journey, and Iām truly honoured for the opportunity to contribute to OMFās strategic mission and vision.
As a Caribbean woman and mindfulness teacher, with a deep passion for workplace mindfulness, Iām committed to promoting mindfulness and meditationās accessibility to all, and the OMFās vision aligns perfectly with this dedication."
