Recently I had the distinct honour of presenting at the 14th Annual Conference of Human Resource Managers of Central Banks in the Caribbean Region. Thank you so much Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago for extending the invitation!
As a former Human Resources professional, I know firsthand the toll unchecked stress can take on the employee, and organisation as a whole.
During my talk, I was pleased to share with the group of virtual and in-person human resource managers ways in which mindfulness can help boost their own resilience and mental health, and equip their team with practical, immediately implementable tools to do the same.
Other speakers at this conference included representatives from the Bank of Canada, Bank of Jamaica, Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, Central Bank of The Bahamas, Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten, Banque de la République d'Haiti and Dr. Maryam Abdool-Richards - Principal Health Officer, Ministry of Health, Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
Looking after our mental health is not just for weekends and holidays. I'm thrilled to be a part of the conversation that promotes good mental health while at work too!
